BONNE MAMAN | GARDEN FLOWERS BOUQUET

Good Mother (mum, mom, mam, ma or even old lass here in Cumbria) is the translation of this pretty gathering of faux flowrs and what better gift to give to the good mothers out there than this nostalgic nod to chubby fingers collecting colourful stems from the garden or on Springtime walks in the park, and the bonus is it will sit pretty for years to come with no preening required.

All the flowers used to create Bonne Maman have been chosen not only for the beautiful visual statement they make but also because each stem holds a meaning that relates to key qualities of a good mother, whether biological or not.

• Pink roses represent sweetness, grace, appreciation and admiration (when did you last tell your mum how much you admire and appreciate her?)
• Yellow roses mean friendship and joy. Even though it's a tough balance to navigate parenting and friendship we often realise later in life that our mother is not only our first friend but our best friend.
• Zinnias represent endurance. A mother's love is certainly enduring!
• Sweetpeas mean gratitude and blissful pleasure. We all give thanks for the time we spend with our mam and the pleasure it brings.
• Mimosa signifies sensitivity and safety. Nothing is as soft and secure as a hug from your old girl.
• Orange poppies indicate regeneration. Mums love being told their child is a chip off the old block, a mini me.
• Chrysanthemums symbolise happiness and wellbeing. A mother's priorities for her children.
• Bellflowers mean affection, constacny and everlasting love. No explanation needed here.
• Asters signify love, faith and wisdom. We all know moms know best.
• Lavender is the epitome of serenity and calm. Attributes that a child will test (especially throughout the teenage years) but the calming embrace is our home is what many of us associate with our mum.
• Delphiniums ar known as the big-hearted flowers and no heart is as big as ma's filled with love for her family!

Florist designed, handtied and carefully paper wrapped, the Bonne Maman bouquet has been arranged and cut to length to place the artificial flowers in a flower vase of your choice. If you would like to display the bouquet in a smaller vase than the one photographed the stems may easily be cut with wire cutters or bent to suit.

PLEASE NOTE: We may at times be unable to supply one or two of the stems illustrated. On these occasions we will substitute stems with similar flowers of comparable quality and price. The overall look of the bouquet will not be diminished in any way by a substitution.
